Present researches

Materials Science Laboratory for communications engineering was established in 1994 in Electrical engineering. The materials for future communications technology have been researched and developed in our Library. Especially, we focused on the research of the PbTiO3, Pb(Zr,Ti)O3, (Pb,La) (Zr,Ti)O3, BaTiO3, and Ba(Mg1/2Nb2/3)O3 etc. which uses ferroelectric and piezoelectric material. Development of materials that have required property for actual devices is a principal pillar of engineering. In order to achieve these purpose, we corroborated with many other universities or institutes.

  1. Thin film Growth using metal organic chemical vapor phase epitaxial method (MOCVD)
  2. Investigation of Ceramics
  3. Characterization of Ferroelectric Material Investigation of Ferroelectric Material using Raman spectroscopy
  4. High-frequency property of dielectric material
  5. Development of electrical device for communication engineering
  6. Development of Radiowave absorber material
  7. Characterization of Radiowave absorber

Experimental facilities

  1. MOCVD System
