The Electron Physics Laboratory conducts scientific research as follows: (1) thin-film antennas and detectors for millimeter and Terahertz (THz) electromagnetic waves, (2) sub-THz and THz electromagnetic wave oscillators, (3) crystal growth of semiconducting and superconducting thin-films, and (4) integration of heterodyne receivers in sub-THz and THz regions.
