Excursion
|
We will organize the following excursions
not only for accompanying persons but also
for delegates, with the help of English-speaking
volunteer guides. Although approximate expenses
per person are indicated in the following
table for your reference, we ask you to pay
the actual expenses on the day.

Kamakura |
We will meet at 10:00AM in the lobby of Shonan
Village Center and
go to Kamakura by using
a local bus and train.
Kamakura is a former
capital of Japan
during the Kamakura Period
(1185-1333) and a
very popular tourist destination
for its temples,
shrines, historical monuments.
We will visit the
Great Buddha, Hasedera
Temple, Tsuruoka
Hachimangu Shrine, etc.
and enjoy a relaxing
lunchtime at a Japanese
food restaurant.
We will return to Shonan
Village Center around
5:00PM. |

August 20 |
Hakone |
We will meet at 8:00AM in the lobby of Shonan
Village Center and
go to Hakone by using
local busses and
trains. Hakone is a very
popular sightseeing
area and also famous
for its hot springs.
Hakone is quite close
to Mt. Fuji so that
you can enjoy the spectacular
view of Mt. Fuji.
We will visit Owakudani,
Togendai, Lake Ashi,
Hakone Checkpoint, etc.
and enjoy a boat
cruise on Lake Ashi and
an aerial view from
a ropeway. We will return
to Shonan Village
Center around 7:00PM. |

August 21 |
Yokohama |
We will meet at 8:30AM in the lobby of Shonan
Village Center and
go to Yokohama by using
a local bus and train.
Yokohama is an exotic
harbor city and the
second largest city in
Japan after Tokyo.
There are many sightseeing
spots. We will visit
Motomachi, China Town,
Yamashita Park, Minato
Mirai 21 District,
etc. and have a lunch
in China Town. We will
return to Shonan
Village Center around 5:30PM. |
