Papers are sought on soil reinforcement applications that will promote interaction between the geotechnical community, the geosynthetics community, and the broader civil engineering profession. This includes advances in: reinforced soil walls, reinforced soil slopes, embankments on soft foundations, pavements including subgrade and base reinforcement, waste containment applications and reinforced soil structures particularly for security applications. Emphasis should be on new design concepts and recent applications. The session will include invited speakers who will focus on the state-of-the-art and international experiences.
