Overview
Developing intelligent nanotechnology and producing new nanomaterials (alloys, intermetallic compounds, ceramics, composites) using an integrated design methodology as a means for developing “cutting-edge materials”. - Exploiting nanomaterials with outstanding properties which provide the key to breakthroughs such as ultra-high-strength metal and alloys, ductile intermetallic compounds, extremely tough ultra-high-temperature ceramics and low-temperature high-strain-rate superplastic ceramics, together with analyzing their structure at molecular and atomistic level. - We also aim at the wide-spread applications of the new matters, materials, phenomena and properties.
