1990-1992 (X-ray diffraction with the He gas closed-cycle
cryostat, Daikin Co.)
Sakurai Lab. at Institute for Materials Research (Tohoku Univ., Japan) This was my first X-ray experiment with Dr. Yosuke Watanabe and Prof. Ken-ichi Ohshima on my undergraduate days.Notice that this is the first low-temperature 4-circle diffractmeter using He gas closed-cycle cryostat in Japan.Temperature cooled down to 15 K. |

1990- (X-ray diffraction with the He gas closed-cycle
cryostat, Air Products Co.)
BL-4C
at Photon Factory (KEK, Japan)
The second He gas closed-cycle cryostat was installed by us. The first
low-temperature experiment at BL-4C was diffuse scattering measurement
from metallic sodium. |

1991- (X-ray diffraction with the He gas closed-cycle
cryostat, Air Products Co.)
Ohshima Lab. at Institute of Applied Physics (Univ. of Tsukuba, Japan) I set up this low-temperature 4-circle diffractmeter with Kazuo Harada in 1991. My Ph.D thiesis was performed using this guy.(The third low-temperature 4-circle difractmeter using He gas closed-cycle cryostat in Japan) |

1992-1994 (Neutron inelastic scattering)
Ponta at JRR-3M (Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, Japan) I remember that some earthquake suddenly occured during collecting inelastic scattering data! I was so scared. Of course, the reactor automatically shut down. |

1994-1995 (Small angle neutron scattering)
SANS-U at JRR-3M (Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, Japan) We developed the alminum containers with Si single crystal windows. Due to this idea, backgrond was reduced 1/20 times less than previous one. See Publications List!!! |
