Overview

- Approach to problem solving based on the three methods comprising experiment, computation and theory.
- Techniques for evaluating the fundamental characteristics of materials necessary for manufacturing, as well as methods for performing equipment maintenance and nondestructive inspection using infrared light.
- The methods and the knowledge obtained in this research laboratory are useful not only in the laboratory, but also for solving various problems at field sites.
- Since the laboratory has a collection of numerous devices and is entrusted with product testing, it is possible to acquire practical engineering techniques.
