Memorial Tribute to Sadao Hoshino
         |
| Prof. Sadao Hoshino died, 78 years old, on Feb. 18, 2004. He was the
great Professor as the scientist in Neutron Scattering, particular in JRR
(Japan Research Reactor). He was the Director of ISSP (The Institute for
Solid State Physics, Univ. of Tokyo), the President of JPS (The Physical
Society of Japan) and the President of CrSJ (The Crystallographic Society
of Japan). After retiring Univ. of Tokyo, He moved to Univ. of Tsukuba. Then, I became one member of students in his group. I was so lucky learning neutron scattering in Tsukuba and Tokai (I am the last student for him). ( Gakushi-Kaikan in Tokyo, Nov. 13, 2004 ) |
